Unplugged Week!!!

Students will work with various building materials to create structures of their choosing. After about 10-15 minutes, they may take apart their structures (completely) and put them back in the bins. Then move to a new table. No more than 4 students per table at a time.

The bins with the building materials are on the back counter. Please place one on each table at the beginning of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade class times.
Students will log into Typing Club on their iPads and type for the duration of the class period.
Students will begin the Google Slides presentation on their historical figure for their wax museum project. Please distribute handout. Students should focus on choosing their Slides theme, and work on Slides 1 & 2 today. Students need to choose to use Google Slides on Safari - slides.google.com, and not the app, that way they will have access to all tools and functions.

6th Grade - Thursday
Students will need to go to the Idea Lab website, (6th grade tab) on their iPads and complete the Personal Interest Inventory online. There is a link button to take them to this survey. Remind them to be sure to click submit when they are done.

Afterwards, they may have free quiet time on their iPads or work on another subject until the end of the class period.
Students need to review (read over) on their their own the Things to Know in 6th Grade Idea Lab sheet and the Idea Lab rules sheet for about 5-10 minutes.
Afterwards, students will need to take the Idea Lab Rules quiz. They will find this link button on the Idea Lab website (6th grade tab).

Following the quiz, students may have quiet free time on their iPads or work on another subject until the end of the class period.
